Switches need to be separate

Kevin, You're going to need separate switches for the bow light & the nav lights. While under sail, only the nav lights should be on. While under power, you would then run the nav lights & the bow light (also sometimes referred to as the "steaming light" because it tells other boaters you're running under power). The bow light is a white light located on the front of the mast about 2/3 of the way up the mast. For the C-30, the nav lights should include the red & green forward lights and a single white light on the transom. I hope this helps!! Allen Schweitzer s/v Drambuie C-30 Hull #632
