Heading out to NJ Southern coast from Amityville, NY. Does anyone have a suggestion on which channel to take to get to the Fire Island Inlet? My sailboat is Catalina 36 mkii TR w/4.5 draft. My plan is to hit the inlet/outlet at high tide. Coming from the west, I'm not sure which channel I should tackle.
