Navigating on plastic overlay - pen recommend?

I have interfaced an old Yeoman Chart plotter to my LORAN as a backup to my GPS plotter. The plotter has a recess for a Maptech Chartkit (or any other chart) covered by a clear plastic overlay that the GPS-driven puck slides about on. I presume you are supposed to markup the overlay using some sort of non-permanent pen or marker. Does anyone have one of these? If so, what type of marker do you use please?

I wouldn't bother...

Patrick, I have one of those Yeoman units (a Navigator Pro model) and I've really appreciated using it at times. However, I can't see any reason why covering a chart (and needing to use something on a plastic overlay) is necessary. After all, with the Yeoman you'll be marking up the paper chart far less than when doing manual plotting. Besides, something that will work on a plastic sheet - a china marker (also called a grease pencil) or A/V pen used with overhead projection acetates - will be less accurate given it's bigger writing surface.
