Iseethelights

Ok, so I was going out to watch the fireworks on my H-30 and realized that my navigation lights weren't working. I opened up the panel for the first time and realized the PO had made a hash out of it.

So here were are... no firework viewing tonight from the boat. I'll re-wire it tomorow but what is the correct configuration for the nav lights for:

1) Steaming under engine power,
2) Running under sail, and
3) Anchoring.

I have a 360 deg. mast head light. A 270 deg ? mid mast light, A red/green bow light and a 270 deg stern light.

Your help would be much appreciated....

Are your panel switches labeled as on my H37C? "Running lights" should turn on the red/green bow light and the stern white light. "Steaming" light should turn on the white 270 degree light on the front of the mast. "Anchor" should turn on the 360 degree light at the top of the mast. Sail with "Running" and motor with "Running" and "Steaming" both. I also have a tri-color at the top of the mast and use the masthead red/green when sailing/motoring in very heavy sdes.
