Nassau Bahamas marinas??

Hello,

I will be cruising to Nassau in November and need to leave my sailboat at a marina while I travel home for Thanksgiving for about a week.

Does anyone have a suggestion about which marina I could leave my boat at while I'm away?

We stayed at the Nassau Harbour Club Hotel and Marina for several days this spring. Very convenient to shopping and transportation. Nice swimming pool. Very active marina with good security... for Nassua. $1.75 a foot a day.

Nassau Harbour Club is your best bet. Peter, the manager is very cruiser friendly and the place is as secure as any place in Nassau.

I agree with all of the above. The Nassau Harbour Club is run by Peter and I know him well. Used to work on his boat and we have spent some great times together. I always tell people to stop there, plus a great shopping center across the street for provisioning that is a lot better than shopping downtown (which is not far away). Yacht Haven is a good place too and the Poop Deck is one of my fav restaurants there. If you want to pull your boat while you are away, then you can go to one of the other marinas between Yacht Haven and the Harbour Club. The Harbour Club does not have a boatyard.

Agreed! Spent anovernight there in March this year on way south and they were very accomodating. My son had to fly home from there and they arranged for a pickup in the morning very good service!
