Just sailed home from the Mystic Rendezvous and as promised wanted to give all those who could not attend an update. Digital pictures will follow to Phil H. as soon as I get my life back in order. First before the details I want to thank Jeff at Sailing Specialties for all the work his guys did to make this happen. All week before the event and during it as well they were busy making sure everything went right, and mostly due to their efforts as well as Dannie from Luhrs Marine group and Eric from Hunter Marine, it did! We had a blast. My kids met great new friends, swam in the new pool (great idea at a marina huh?) and generally made life easy for mom and dad. I finally got to meet Mark J, Ken and Ray from "Lon Guy Land", Wilkee, Lee and Jackie, as well as Joe from Summers Wind in NJ. Anyway the list could go on and on but the event was attended by over 45 boats from as far away as Maryland (Patty Polk and family on their 460) but the true long distance award goes to Rick

And Block Island Too!

I second everything Bob Knott said about the Mystic rendezvous. It was a great event. Nancy and the kids and I made a lot of new friends and were able to meet several folks who have contributed to discussions on the HOW. In fact we had such a good time, and following the suggestion of Wilkee Marvel, several boats went on to Block Island following Mystic. Boating in the fog is quite the experience. Once there however the island is great. The whole experience was well worth the three days of motoring to get there. We are ready for the next one. Joe Knapp H340 S/V Summer's Child

Mystic

I third the repsonses here. Meet great fellow Hunter owners. The seminars where informative, my wife even enjoyed the Mack Boring seminar. Good food, great new and old friends, great time. Got to chat with Greg Emerson Satruday evening, whom I know has provided tremendous help to many Hunter owners. Great success. Well done to all that organized the event Bryce S/V Spellbinder
