Mystery space - 37

There is an enclosed space on the starboard side of the cabin. It is at the starboard side of the companionway against the hull, aft of the nav table, and is enclosed by pannelling. It measures about a foot square. The legend on the plan in the O'Day manual gives a description, but is not legible. Can anyone explain what is inside it, if anything?

On the large ice box model...

On the 37 model that came with the large ice box instead of the nav station this whole space is occupied by the ice box... So I doubt that there is anything critical behind you nav station.

Access panel for wiring

The spacecan be used to run wiring and for access to the back of instruments installed in the panel over the nav station.

Thanks, I was looking for somewhere to run some wiring . I will hopefully be passing Titusville sometime in late November/early December en route from Toronto to Miami. Where do you keep your boat?David Marrison
