I am refitting cabinets in the galley of my 86 Hunter 31. Removed all the existing cabinets along the starboard bulkhead to just forward of the stove. I on the starboard bulkhead about a foot forward of the stove, I see a PVC fitting a few inches up from counter height with a hose that runs downward. Not sure what this is or where the hose goes to. Any ideas?

This sounds like the overboard discharge from the bilge pump. On our 28.5, it's on the port side. Pour a couple quarts of water inthe bilge andactivate the bilge pump with the float switch to test.

I thiink it is the bilge pump line. The water tank is in the aft Qtr Berth and I believe the vent is on the stern.
