Looked at both after I sold my 272. I was all set for a 302 and was lucy and ended up with the 322. While both layouts are very similar, MY Wife liked it better for the following reasons. Wider then the 302, U shaped settee vs. straight, double sink, oven was standard on most 322s more storage. While I will probably never really use it the 322 has a sit down nav station. Depending on your price range both are nice sailing boats with similar characteristics to the 272 only bigger. Good luck. Jeff, "Wild Goose"
