Our Club had a Cardboard Regatta scheduled for today. Last year was the first time for the Club. It was well attended and had fast boats and sinkers...
We didn't make it to today's due to the rain and thunder. Missed out on last Wednesday's Beer Can due to fog. And travel for the day job has had me traveling so I've missed most of the summer.
But there's the "Great Chase Race" on Saturday and the "Boston Harbor Island" Regatta on the 28th. Both attract about 100 boats in a pursuit race. Our Capri 22 is one of the smallest, so we get to be one of the first to start - AND get to see most of the boats as they go by...
