I Scraped 120 pounds of bottom paint off. Found some pox. grind out and faired then 4 coats of e-2000. finished with VC-17. The boat has been out of the water for 3 years and I wanted the barrier coat on before she went in.

I went through a similar thing back in 2007 with me new-to-me 1986 35. There was about 20 years worth of paint build up. I tried scraping, sanding, and chemicals. I gave up and hired a soda blaster, who did a great job.
