I have a Hunter26 and my mainsail is so hard to get it up and down the mast. I replaced the nylon guides with identical new ones but that didn't help. Anyone else have problems similar and how did you solve it. thanks.

When I got my 1995 H-26 main sail was hard to raise. With mast down I scrubbed the sail track with small brush, hot water and detergent. Rinsed with cold water from hose. Amazing the amount of crud that came out. Then I sprayed the track with dry sail track lube - have nylon slugs. Worked great. Mike T.
