I've got my boat out and on-the-hard this month, and thought I'd keep a journal of my repairs, thinking the info might be of use to others sharing this forum. My boat suffered some damage to the peak of the bow, with one cleat completly torn away during hurricanes Katrina and Wilma. It wouldn't survive another storm season without these repairs. Any advice on repairs underway would be welcomed. Scott Fraser Rubicon Key West

great..

I think posting it a very good idea... I have a LOT of repairs to make on a 37C.. I plan on posting too... As much to keep track myself - and hopefully for the use of others... --jerry

Thanks

I appreciate your posting, I own a 1985 31 and will watch with great interest. I have a leak somewhere near my v-plate and am interested to see how it is attached, any close ups here will be appreciated. I'm glad to see that some of Katrina's wrath is being corrected...........good luck with your project!

V-plate construction

Bob, I've added more details about the bow plate assembly to the web page at the link below. The added text is in blue. Where is the water appearing below? I had a leak on the port side of the V-berth wall, which I tracked down to the bow nav light wires where they enter the deck near the tow rail.
