Here is my first attempt at posting a video on Youtube... We were returning from Tangier Island and, (I don't really have to tell you), of course the wind was coming directly from where we needed to go. Please no comments on the sail trim. We were racing a larger boat back to the marina; he was faster but we could point higher into the wind. I was pinching it as much as I could. I think it is called "feathering"... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieuLLJ1ykLU

Ed,
Really amazing how much your 33 looks like my '79 37. 1st time youtube video came out pretty good. Sails look fairly new. Same depth and speed meter setup as mine. I did take note of your boat but adding the girls was a good touch.

Good job. I would check the tension on the shrouds as they seem a little slack. Also refrain from pinching when filming as the flutter noise drowned out your voices. No complaints about your choice of crew.

Hey Benny- Actually the noise on the mic is entirely the wind, not the sails luffing... You think the shrouds are loose? The thing flapping near the the starboard shrouds is the line used to raise a burgee to the spreader.

Nice job Ed. The familiy and I had a great week sailing Arpeggio (took the week off). Got 2 good days out of the 5 for sailing; Monday and Thursday. (Tuesday spent rewiring instruments plus avoided a blow, Wednesday rain all day, Friday another 30 knot blow). Today is looking promising and am still on the boat. I can't get over how well she sails. No ill manners and great speed. With just the 150 Genoa, 12 knots of wind, she will do 6.5 knots (SOG). I will hoist the repaired main today (tore main on Monday heading north out of beach haven, hoisting problem caused the tear).

Keep the videos coming. Looks like you are enjoying the boat :) Way to go.

Only 2 days of sailing out of 5- tough break, but at least you were able to rewire your instruments... Posting on You tube was surprisingly easy; I will do an inside tour of Shiloh just because I love seeing the inside of other 33's and getting ideas for improvements... OpSail is next Tuesday and I am going to sail out to meet the fleet of tall ships as they sail up the bay. A video of that is planned. Ed H
