Yes I had my first knockdown in my 1989 catalina22 with a wing keel. We were out when it was too windy but I thought it would be a good time to TEST this boat I just purchased. All was fine and the sails were FULL when a gust of about 6 beaufort hit us and put us over but only for a moment as we let out the main and popped back up. Alan

no reef
We did not reef the main and we had just the 100% jib. We were testing as it were and now I know what it takes to blow over. I realy love this little boat can't wait to take it to the coast. Alan
