Thanks to all who responded to my late-December/early-January posts about the awful diesel smell in our Hunter Vision 32. But special thanks to Peggy, The Head Mistress, who suggested that we try PureAyre. That stuff worked miracles in our boat! Not only did it get the diesel smell out of the boat, but when we picked up our new cushions and were dismayed to find out that they reeked of cigarette smoke, PureAyre got rid of that smell, too! Now I even use it for the cat's litter box. Thank you, Peggy!!!

Application?

I have the same fuel smell problems. How did you use the Pure Ayre? Spray directly to all surfaces? Fogger? Other?

What happens when you only read a few forums...

Instead of scrolling through all the posts in all the forums each 24 hours: You miss s a lot of things that aren't specific to your boat that can come in handy to know. It only takes less than 5 minutes to scroll through the headers to see if anything has been posted you actually want to read. If I could remember which forum he originally posted his cry for help in--and in which replied to recommend PureAyre and gave him directions for use to solve his problem, I'd take pity on you and send you there for the answer to you question. But I don't remember, so unless he helps you out, you'll have to do a search for posts using the keyword "pureayre."

I'm not sure what is in PureAyre...

K.O. is live bacteria that are cultured to eliminate any ORGANICALLY caused odor in an aerobic environment. PureAyre is a proprietary blend of bacteria, enzymes and and I dunno what other organic ingredients that make it the only product I've ever found that not only eliminates all organically generated odors, but all non-organic odors such as diesel and smoke too.
