The Headmistress forum is specifically devoted to sanitation and plumbing ("HEADmistress...heads...get it????)Since most of the people here don't bother to read it unless they have a plumbing question or problem, questions posted here about anything else aren't likely to be seen by very many people and are a waste of your time AND mine.
I'm sure it was just a mistake.Since it been around zero degrees all week, I pretty envious, Vic. I thought about a charter out of Naples,(I found a cheap one) but was told there isn't a lot of places to go. Any thoughts?Randy
I've begun new threads a couple of times here in the past, and have sometimes searched for where to begin. It is much easier to just jump on and post a response.
find a way to reclassify it in the edit mode ... and it appears when I started I didn't realize I was sitting on a Head page. Was just doing the second line of this instruction."Write a response to this article (To submit an entirely new article, go here)" but that second line seems to set you into the category of the page it is on and I didn't notice it in time. But anyway someone does know how to move it and did so ... ThanksVic.
there are a lot of backwater areas. But the big kick seems to be going either up to Sanibel or down to Key West. I always vote for KW. But you are probably better off just starting at KW and then over to Ft. Jefferson and kicking around down there. Naples is not a dynamic sailing center. Lots of Beach ... We use the high rises as landmarks. There's Marco, There's Pelican Bay, etc.If Cuba ever opens up ... it's just over 200 miles south. KW just over 100 miles south.Today, we had a high of 81 and the wind 20+ coming direct up Gordon river. The NaplesSailingCenter [.0rg] had a bunch of kids out on the 420s hiking out and looking great ... small white caps with about 9 in. waves.Us old guys sat on the dock making cracks about "if we were just 50 years younger" Sammy would probably swamp a 420 if he tried to get onto it. too much good living at the two for ones.Vic "Seven"
