Go here to evaluate your 'weather helm':

If you are using http://shop.sailboatowners.com/prod.php?51998/Sail Trim Users Guide or equivalent (usage of full set of tell tales, etc.) for trim and sail shape ..... and you still have 'weather helm':

• Sail SHAPE problems that cause weather helm: http://forums.sbo.sailboatowners.com/showthread.php?t=120970 (post #1)

Then, if the above two dont reduce your 'weather helm', then and only then 'rake the mast'.
