If you like my muffler, check out my album. You can see the inside of my 27 year old fuel tank!
that tank isn't that bad for it's age

now, replace this and the small diameter hoses feeding it. Then replace the return hose from the injectors to the tank.

Pat, I did replace that. I now have a new Racor 500MA2 filter. I didn't get pics of it though.

It does not look like a traditional water lift muffler but it has to be installed with one particular (marked) side up. It must have some internal baffles so that it works like a water lift or water lock muffler. It was installed at or below the waterline and I used it for many years on my 1980- H30 without any problems. I had a 15 HP Yanmar 2QM15 and used the muffler with the 2" inlet/outlet. As I said, Hunter Marine recommended that particular size for a replacement for the old stainless steel in-line muffer on my boat.
Why not call the technical folks at Hunter and discuss it with them.

Will do, and thanks for the link again. I did look at the Centek site, and they showed a 2" good for up to 25HP. I have a 3GMD (20HP), so think it should be fine.

Sorry for the delay. I have measured the inlet and outlet and both are 2". It is a new Naqualift fiberglass muffler in very good condition. The label is the same as the Primex label so maybe one company bought the other or it was made by one for the other. Please contact me for further info.

It looks like it would work fine. Which is the inlet side? I'll send you a PM shortly.
Thanks,
Ralph
