We are looking to replace the muffler on our 1993 Hunter Legend 40.5. There is a crack in the elbow at the point where it connects to the hose that runs to the engine. I was going to try fiberglass muffler tape, but I can't remove the muffler from the hose as the elbow is too soft and is stuck to the hose. I am afraid that it will fall apart if I try to remove it.
The original muffler is a 'Naqualift' but I do not have a model number. Does anyone know what the orignal model number of the muffler is or the brand and model number of a replacement muffler that would be the same footprint? The current muffler is 17.5 x 14 and the hose that connects to it looks like it is 3 inch connection.
