I have a problem with mud dauber wasps getting into the boat and making mud nests everywhere. Mostly they seem to get in thru the companionway. Any ideas how to seal this?I have an oday 25 and inside by the gunnels on each side is fiberglass overhang that has a slot behind it. The daubers go into that slot and make their nests. Also I have leaks where drips from this cavity. I am chaulking topside fittings to hopefully stop the leaks. What would happen if I try to fill these voids with spray in expanding foam insulation? It seems it would eliminate one area where the mud daubers nest and help squeeze out a place where water comes into the cabin. Anyone have ideas?
