After reading many of you're advice columns i have decided to install a MSD system. I have looked at Sealand 975 MSD, Thetford 465 MSD and Thetford 365 MSD. I would like you're advice on which model to buy. Shoud i go with the Sealand which works on air pressure or the manual Thetford or the electric Thetford. Any guidance would be appreciated.

All three are a good choice..

Flip a coin to pick between the SeaLand and the Thetford...your choice whether to always make sure you have some AA batteries on hand or not. I've always thought an electric portapotty was kinda cool, but I've never actually seen one installed on a boat or known anyone who's installed it...so I can't attest to the reliability. However, if it didn't work ok, I think I would have heard about it.

I got it

I received my 365msd this afternoon and will install this weekend. I would however like to be able to dump it through out the winter and then install the plumbing in the spring for pumpout.
I went to the thetford site to see about buying a spout and cap, but could not find a place that sold these parts. Do you have any suggestions on where to find these parts? What type of chemical to use? Any outside the box installation tips?
