I have a 1976 Gurney designed O'day 27. The holding tank looks like iit is a replacement as it displaced the bin locker under the port side of the vee berth. The current tannk is approx 6 gallons. I wouild like to replace it with something bigger as I only get 2 flushes in it before it is full. The boat must have had a factory installed tank, but I can't detect its location. Does anyone have any details about the original tankage for this boat? Thanks.

I've got an O28 and mine is located under the V-berth. Have you looked there?

I did look under the vee berth, but see no evidence of a tank installation other than the current replacement. I do see what looks like a couple of carriage head bolts in the sole of the vee berth, but no apparent access
