What is the general imaged description of a crossection hunter '91-30' hull, particularly at the skeg or "boss" level? This would be helpful knowledge in cases of damage repair.
An MRI would show a layer of gelcoat(opaque) about 30mils thick and a layer of glass (transparent) about 3/4" to 1" thick then a layer of gel coat about 10mils then (n most folks boats I've seen) a layer of slime dirt and oily residue (grainy appearing) then about 1-2inches of water that would appear like a shadow.
