Hi All,
I recently acquired a Beneteau Oceanis 430. It is the charter version with two forward cabins separated by a wood panel wall. I wanna rip out that wall and have one big cabin up front. I assume this will not effect the structural inegrity of the boat as the 3 cabin owners version does not have any supports where the wall is in the 4 cabin version.
Ive seen a few pics of converted 430s - has anyone done this and if so what pointers or traps I should consider before firing up the power saw? How did you go about managing the edge where the bunks lock into the centre wall? Pictures would also be appreciated if possible.
