seidelman S 25 Cave Run Lake KY
Hello all, I recently got my first sailboat, a 1978 seidlmann as my 40th b-day present. Love the way she sails and she has all new running lines and the head sails are in great shape. I am moving the boat to a bigger lake that will allow me to maintain it better and was going to do a complete bottom job( i can not find out the last time she was out of the water. The topside needs some work, so I was thinking just paint the whole boat, any suggestions. On the best way to go about this. I need to do some work on the the traveler and get a new main but do not think I can do it this year.

Hi Rob:

Since the 25 is not very heavy, I would consider a trailer. This way you can take time to work on her close to your tools!!! It's also easy to transport her.
If you look at the post underneath yours, you can see my 25 sitting on a trailer. It's also easy to modify a trailer by getting adjustable posts which in my case are bolted onto the trailer with u-bolts.

:) Ernst
