delivery sail. We saw a brand new basketball out in the Admiralty Inlet, no prob. The 15' diameter tree trunk complete with roots was another story. We barely saw it in time to dodge it. If it'd been dark? Not a pretty thought considering we were surfing at 10 knots or so. That trip and those conditions showed me just how nice of a boat I had. Not a single creak, even when it was blowing 60 with 15' wind waves. Just a nice, comfortable ride. The staysail boom slamming back and forth when we got to close to DDW was annoying though.
