Will be moving on up from an 89 MacGregor 26D to a H260, can anyone tell me why Hunter discontinued the H260, ie poor sales, production problems, warranty issues etc?

I can answer that one easily as I know the answer.
I had the first and last 260 from Hunter as it was benefitiing as I am the Godfather.
The Hunter sales stafff wanted to continue manufacturing and selling this boat but corporate( Luhrs) decided otherwise . Later they realized that was a mistake.
As for the 240, sales had dropped off significantly and they were not producing that boat. As for the Edge, that came out later but unfortunately, it was 10-15 years to late for that one coming out but the Edge has alot going for it. I introduced that boat as well as all the others.
