Mounting bracket for Hunter cockpit speaker/light pod.

I bought a 2008 Hunter 33 last year. At the time it did not have the original speaker/light pod in the cockpit but instead had a couple of Bose outdoor speakers. Sound was great but everyone kept hitting their heads on them and i rarely use speakers in the cockpit, so top quality sound not really an issue.

I recently got the original speaker/light pod from the first owner but can't figure out how to mount it to the arch. There are 4 holes in the pod but they don't correspond to any holes or studs on the arch. So I'm guessing that there would have originally been a bracket mounted to the arch and that bracket would have had threaded studs or threaded holes that could be used to secure the speaker/light pod.

If anyone has experience with how the pod is mounted to the arch I'd welcome the information.

Thanks,

Art.

On my Hunter 38, the speaker pod is held up with four 3 1/2" machine screws. The screws go through the four holes in the pod and screw into threaded holes in a plate welded to the arch. I have been on a Hunter 33 several times and it has an identical type of mounting for the pod.
