Any chartplotter installation at or near a compass should be followed up by a compass adjustment, preferably by a professional compass adjuster with the proper tools.

That said EVERY boat should have a deviation card and properly adjusted compass yet perhaps 90% do not....

Just curious how often should you have your compass adjusted? Once anytime there is a change at the pedestal or once every X years?
