I purchased an Oday 20 a month ago. One of the last things I need to do is mount the motor. I have a short shaft 6 hp Evinrude. There is no motor mount or bracket and I am hoping someone can give me advice on what they have used. Thanks Doug
Your going to have to find an adjustable (up & down) type motor mount to get the your "short shaft" motor low enought into the water. Check with Defender Marine on the web. Also, you will have to reinforce the transom to support the motor. Maybe a good size piece of 5/8" marine plywood glassed to the inside and through bolted to the mount. Good Luck!
