Has anyone seen a single motor mount disintegrating (appears as black rubber dust particles) on Ben 361. Mine is 2000 B361, hull #64 with only 950 hrs on Westerbeake engine, but aft port mmount is disintegrating itself. NO vibrations, or oil/water comtamination that I see - only rubber dust. All other mounts appear fine. Any help appreciated. Thanks "Pinch"

Yep! I also just found this on my 2003 B331 with a Westerbeke 30b engine two weeks ago. My starboard aft rubber mount. This is after replacing both front mounts a couple seasons ago. I only have a couple 100 hours. Not happy.
Bought a new mount for $185 and will put on over the winter.

I tried uploading the photo. It looks like the metal shell snapped and the rubber just wore away. Others look intact. I am sure they know these issues and ignore it.

Thanks, Craig. Looks like similar breakdown - but unlike yours, I see no metal cover failure thus far, only rubber dust. Appreciate the photo.
I'm thinking I'll go ahead and replace all 4 after haul out in Nov., since mine are 12 yrs old.
BTW, what caused you to replace the two forward ones -- signs of wear or other issues?
Thanks,
Ralph

Forgot to ask in earlier reply - what method did you use to lift engine for m/mount replacement? Mine has barely 2" clearance on aft end of engine; front has about 4.5". I can possible get a sissors jack in to front, but am wondering about aft end approach. Any advice??

Sorry I was not clear. My front was not the isomount base but the actual brackets that bolt to the engine. The replacements were same but beefed up with extra welded support. Others in the harbor had the same issue.

The other base isomount supports look good. At $185 I'll do as needed.
