Howdy folks! Am purchasing a 1975 Oday 22. It has a Evinrude motor control on the starboard side of the cocpit, low. (See photo.) Does anyone have a photo of what the mount at the motor looks like, It appears to be missing on mine? Or maybe can you describe it to me? Thanks in advance for the answer. Jack Hart Conover, NC

Which Evinrude?
It really depends on what model of Evinrude you have as to what the conections at the motor end will look like. OMC used to publish a parts catalog each year and it had some photos of the mounting brackets for the engine control cables, but OMC is long gone now (Evinrude and Johnson are products of Bombardier Recreation now). I'd check with an Evinrude or Johnson Dealer's parts Dept. You might find a knowledgeable person at a local BOAT/US store that has a parts dept, but a Johnson or Evinrude dealer is a better bet.
