So the engine is done and the water tanks are good too. I replaced the holding tank vent line (it is a half inch hose if anyone is wondering). Numerous other small projects were done as well.

This past week I put some Daily's Seafin Teak Oil on the wood in my Cabin. I also took my cushions out during this time and washed the covers and used Fabreze on the foam. It was a great project and it turned out well. The interior looks great now.

Sure looks nice, and ready to go.

What is that foam on top of your V berth? Do you like it?

I put a egg crate mattress cover on my V berth. I really like it because it adds a lot to the cushions. It makes sleeping up there very comfortable. It doesn't look that great but I cover it with a sheet when I am down there (use a king size fitted sheet to go over the cushions.

It is a cheap thing that is worth it. I took the cushions out and laid them on the foam to cut it.

We did the same thing on our C30 and it made a world of difference. Sheets fit better also!

The wood looks great. Always love boats with the dark wood. More classic look. A friend of mine has an Ericson 38 and I could just stare at the wood all day.

I just finished off the spring projects as well. Just rebuilt the water pump where the original lube-oil cup had rusted away. Wish they haden't used a steel fitting on a brass-bronze pump body. The dia-electric corrosion had rusted the steel away. Moyer marine still sells the oil cup for around 20 bucks. I oiled the interior woodwork in the cabin as well. Also refinished the brightwork on deck with 2 coats of cetol and a top coat of bright laquer captain's varnish. Looks good for about a year or so, till its time to refinish again! Wish there was a more durable varnish out there.
