I can answer a few questions

We have a 46' Nelson Merrick designed aft cockpit sloop.... Morgan Out Island 41 is a cruisers dream

Just bought one last July and am almost finished pouring money in her and now sailing her more and more.Just spent a night last week rafted together with another 416. Check Practical Sailor.They have a reputation for being well made and slow and not good to wind. Pelican may have some response to this. I have no experience w/boat and am just going on dock talk.
