Morgan 42 OI weight

I have a friend that just bought a 1972 Morgan OI. We need to know how much it weighs to get a trucking company to move it. It is not at a marina, so we need someone with a hydralic trailer to pick it up in the Boston area and move it upstate NY. Any suggestions?

I have a 72 OI I would love to trade pictures and stories sometime...I moved My Boat From the Gulf Coast about 200 miles inland. I used a guy with a hydralic tralier. T. J. Wagner is his name and I believe he was from the Boston Area. My boat is listed as 25 tons. with a net of 23 tons. We rolled down the interstate doing 70 MPH. No Problem.

That is what the book says and that is exactly the weight of my 1971 oi 41 ketch as per playboy marine travel lift
