I'm in the process of comissioning the shower in the aft head of my 415 Out Island. Though I've had the old girl for 5+ years, the shower has never been operable during the time I've owned the boat. I've been doing some remodeling in the head in preparation for showering. I now need to work on hooking up a diapram basen pump. However, I do not see how I can attach a hose to the bottom of the shower drain without removing the engine and shaft. Is there another way? Coincendtly, I plan to repower the boat in the spring. Do I need to wait until I pull the engine, tranny, and shaft? The boat gets used year-round and it would be nice to shower onboard.
