It's +8 C here, and now that I've got my nav lights sorted out, I'm ready to head out. Probably not this weekend, cuz the tides are wrong, but next weekend...

It sounds a lot colder when they say 8 degrees doesn't it.

Druid, your money is just about at par with ours now, when is your thermometer going to catch up...do we have to wait until it's -40 degrees?

Just as a lid can't fall into a pot. AND if you put an egg on the floor in the right place you can't break it with a wash tub.

Nice N Easy,

If it ever looks like it is going to warm up here in Dallas one weekend and you want to sneak away for some sailing you are welcome on my boat. I don't know what part of the metroplex you are staying in, but I keep my H260 on Lake Lewisville. It's no Gulf sailing but it beats not sailing.

I spoke to a fellow in southern GA Monday morning & he was 4d colder than us. I told him my winter secret is LL Bean flannel lined chinos.
C'mon boys, duct tape some skates to your hull & go ice boating.
