The table in the salon needed some work, and I wasn't confident in re-venieering the leaves, so made new ones from 3/4 teak plywood, and 2 inch solid teak for the edges..Ran the drop leaf cut on a panel cutter (is NICE to have acess to the base wood hobby shop!!) and the roundovers on the router table..Did the fitting today, before I did the final sand and finish..Not too bad..Yes Gene, I left them the orginal size, Wendy likes to entertain! 73 Ed bt

No fiddles?

Looks SO familiar. But I do not see fiddles in the picture. Will you do without? My table is still original. Added three coats of varnish last winter. Cut out the end so I can remove it from the mast when I want more room to work. The piece goes back in so that you cannot tell it is removable. Grandkids need the space for reading and coloring.

No..We still

haven't decided to put fiddles on or not..I have some bronze plain bearings that I can install flush, and use some nylon spacers for pins so they can be removeable if we deciede that we really need fiddles...For now gonna leave them out.. 73 Ed bt
