Hey all, Tony B's pic is not an abberation. There are miles and miles just like this. I was on an across the Gulf trip with Tony in June, and I had the 2 to 6 watch. We did not have radar, and it was spooky. There wasn't a minute Tony wasn't in the cockpit with me through this area. We saw one rig, just befor dark, that was listing at about a 20 or 25 degree angle. The only light on it was on a little floating bouy, about 1/4 mile on the south side. Another instance I was watching a rig about ten degrees off to starboard, after I got pretty close to it, I realized there was another rig between my and the one I was looking at. Would not want to ever do that again. Radar is a very high priority on my new boat, and I know it is also way up there on Tony's list.
