I am a new owner of a 1996 H26... I have been through the manual and CrazyDave from the forum has discussed the procedure with me via the phone at length...

Well, I am still really not absorbing the information as well as I want to... The sailing season is here and the boat is still on the hard... I live just outside of Philadelphia.

I have plans to put it in Somers Point, NJ. That's next to Atlantic City and Ocean City New Jersey.

What I don't want to do is damage anyone or the boat too... Dave suggested that I post this on the forum as he said there are a lot of Hunter Owners in this area...

Here is the question:

Are there any Hunter Owners nearby either location that would be willing to just show me the hook up procedure? I am willing to trailer it to your location if you are close to this area. The previous owner has not returned my calls and I suppose that is common although it would be something that I personally wouldn't do.

I would greatly appreciate your assistance...

Sincerely,

ABK

Bruce

Just saw this post and remembered the trouble I had raising the mast on my 26ft Chrysler. Once I figured it out and did it a couple times, it was easy, but getting to that point was no fun.

BTW, my boat is currently on the hard at a marina just west of Millville, NJ. Unless you're fixed on a Somers Point launch, let me know and I'll provide directions here and help with your launch.

It's me again the A/C man and you saved me a lot of work and expense on my next mod...

Thanks Fred... I am in at Somers Point and went sailing for the first time this season just yesterday... The winds was 5-6 knots and the air was cool out in the bay behind Ocean City...

The previous owner said he would lend a hand but never called back...

His loss, he left me a Spinnaker pole and a real nice West Marine Rigging Knife...

It was a sweat party raising the mast but my friend and I accomplished the task... It will be easy next time...
