Is MORC still being used? The last MORC race I was in was over 40 years ago. That was on Lake Erie and I've since lost touch with sailing in that area.

Looks like the Hunter is not in the list of boats that have been measured and qualified..
The MORC
The Midget Ocean Racing Club was a club fostering offshore competition between small boats, first under 24′ (7.3m) and expanded to under 30′ (9.1m) by the 1980s. Its rating rule, initially promulgated by the designer Bill Shaw, emerged from the CCA (Cruising Club of America) rule of the 1950s–60s and used a similar concept of corrections from a Base Boat. MORC measured sails, rig dimensions, beam, draft, waterline length, and both the length and transom width at 4% of LWL (length waterline) above WL (waterline) plus weighed the ballast and total boat. Ratings were expressed in feet. MORC favored relatively heavy boats with generous sail plans.
Not sure the transom of the Hunter would meet the 4% transom width.

Note that the Web site is copyrighted from 2010. As the VP for Communications of the Mariner Class Association, I sent them a couple of emails a few years ago and got no response. The O'Day Mariners were MORC certified, but the current Stuart Marine Mariners are not.
According to this site, the last MORC vote in 1998, increased the MORC boat length to 34'.
There is also a Facebook group, but I don't have a Facebook account, so I have no information on their Facebook page. However, if they are still active, Facebook is probably where they will be.

Thank you to everyone for the contributions to help answer my question. I did come across a reference to a Hunter 25 that was an MORC boat. I have joined the Facebook group to learn more. Thanks again!
