I was thinking about a purchase from Moorings, is buying a boat from them good or bad, Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom: I've been asking the same question. So far, no answer. It makes me wonder if many of the subscribers to this site have done this. There does not seem to be that much Beneteau only traffic. How close are you to purchasing? I'm just getting started. It will probably be a year before I'm close enough to make offers. Markdb

Not sure but....

there are two ex-Moorings boats in our marina and the owners seem happy. Although, I never really asked them about the price they paid or experience with the Moorings. I've sailed from a few of the Moorings bases around the world. The BVI boats are used heavily but are well maintained, I never had a problem on any of my trips.

Moorings purchase

Hi Mark, my wife and I were about to buy a 41 Beneteau from moorings last week, but I got sent overseas with the Air Force so we didn't complete the deal. They were asking 114K for a 2001 model. Sounded like a good deal
