For this 6100 lb displacement boat, moored on a buoy on a moderate sized lake (Sebago)with fair protection from westerly swells, what mooring chain size and scope would be safe? Is stainless steel chain available and a practical option for this purpose? (A neighbors boat broke it's 5 year old galvanized chain and went on the rocks recently.) Experience and recommendations will be gratefully recieved. Barry
