My 1990 C 28 has a bookrack or holder attached to the built in cooler on the port side of the cabin. the cooler was retrofitted with a refrigerator which work great. the problem now is the relatively cooler outer surface of the cooler causes condensation behind the wood bookrack which then provides a perfect combination for growing mold despite the placement of small spacers between the rack and the cooler. any other ideas?

Sounds like you could use some more insulation

Can yuo get a piece of styrofoam insulation inside the cooler on that wall? Or maybe some spray foam?

Silver bubble insulation

I'm intrigued by this stuff called Reflectix. Use a chunk in the icebox as a thermal blanket, tuck some behind the books to protect from condensation, etc. You might try something like that... LaDonna
