.... Has anyone else with a Cherubini (esp a 36) noticed a complete LACK of any moisture problems? Any idea why that is?

I'm in the PNW but both my boat neighbours are constantly complaining about the damp and moistness inside their boats, one has a nasty mold problem because of it. All I can do is look sympathetic and mumble 'well I don't really have that issue' but I have no answer when they ask me what I do.

Is it the construction of the boat that seems to eliminate moisture problems? I now have a diesel furnace which dries out everything so much that I'm thinking about putting a pot of water on it to add water back into the air, but even before that it was dry as heck - even with my leaky ports.

If you figure it out patent and it and then give it to me.
I have never had much moisture and never mold. I keep Damp-Rid, three bags, hanging during the winter months on the hard. Never needed anything through the sailing months. This is on Lake Erie but wasn't any worse the years in Florida.

You must have good ventilation or use your boat very often. That diesel furnace is just reinforcing whatever you have. Here in FL we use a dehumidifier plugged into shorepower.

When you find out what your doing sell it to me. I'm constantly battling moisture on my H27 and have to use an electric mini dehumidifier full time to keep the boat dry. Without the dehumidifier the boat gets all musty and dank on the inside.

I would also avoid using a pot to put moisture back into the air. The less moisture the better, be grateful for what you got. I'm very envious of you.

Pat yourself on the back! Who knows...maybe your slip is pointed into the wind just right? I know that on my H27, I had good luck in reorienting one of my aft ventilation scoops in the opposite direction. So now I have one vent scooping air and the other exhausting air no matter where the wind blows.

Several of my friends have installed solar vents with good results...but again, I congradulate you on your dry boat...may she always be dry!
