modifying refrigeration system on 410

Has anyone separated the freezer/refrigeration system by adding an additional refrigeration unit and blocking off the spill-over fan system.
I anyone has I would be interested in how the piping was routed and problems experienced and resolved

Did it. Blocked off the holes. Just left the old t'stat and keep it off. Put new air cooled unit behind the oven and just ran the ref piping in the side of the box. Installed a small unit with one flat plate. Ran new wiring under the floor to a breaker on the panel. It works great.

Sailgunner, appreciate the input, but Has anybody install the new refrigeration unit under the Stb Settee and put the tubing through or behind the freezer compartment. In my freezer there is an L shaped blocked off area in the left rear corner, does anybody know what is concealed within that blocked off area

There is a hull stringer behind that L-shaped area. You can see it by removing the LP Gas solenoid panel and poking an iPhone through the opening with the flashlight feature turned on. I've seen a lot of the boat that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to see by using my iPhone.
