Modify headsails to eliminate the sail cover

I have a 26X that uses a sail cover on the genoa. The zippers keep breaking and I have not found replacements that work. Can the Doyle sail be modified so I can just furl it and not use the sail cover? I do have roller furling, but no Sunbrella on the sail. Thank you.

Jack, You can have a UV suncover installed on your genoa. These are made of sunbrella or UV coated Dacron. It is a straightforward job to install one on your sail. Let your sailmaker know which way your sail furls(Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise) and what style of cover you prefer. This way you don't have to deal with the genoa zipper sock and you can spend more time sailing! Thanks, Bill C. Doyle Sails
