Hi, In going through the archives, I found a number of references to Ronco 35 gal. holding tanks for the Hunter 42. However, none of them had the model number. We have a 1990 Hunter 42 that has an aluminum tank, and we would like to replace it with a poly tank. Does anyone know what the Ronco model number that best fits in the space used for holding tanks on the Hunter 42? Are there slightly larger ones that make better use of that same space, but offer a little more capacity? A short side question, would be regarding the 1"+ blown foam that the tanks was mounted in. When placing the poly tank, does one still need to use the blown foam, or is the poly tank suffciently flexable that this would be less useful? Thanks, Utta

You don't need the blown foam

As for which Ronco tank, the Ronco catalog is online at http://www.ronco-plastics.com Print out the drawings that are in the size range you're looking for, take 'em to the boat and check the sizes and shapes against the size and shape of the space.
