Model designations and differences?

Hello all, I am new to sailing and very new to Catalina's, I see in the boat information page, what appears to be different models of the same length boats ie. 25, Capri-25, 250 and then mkII or mkIII. What are the differences between these apparent different models?Thanks in advanceGreg White

MKII

Means that it is a major change but the hull is the same. Only the cabin areas have been changed, well sometimes. It is done so you can do fleet racing with the same hull.
